Here is a kit list have used for previous trips.

Re: Equipment List
Something else for the list:
Laptop - Could help us get regular updates onto the blog, and help photographers back up their photos.
...but is it worth it?? We are already short on weight.
Deet - should be a group investment.
Sean, how're you getting on with the Excel spreadsheet?
It'll massively reduce faff once August 2nd comes and we're meeting up.

Re: Equipment List
Still after opinions on the laptop situation.
Does anyone have one they'd be willing to take?
Or should we buy an expedition bashed up one?
There are one or two on amazone for under £100.

You can take them on as extra on flights, right?
I'll be straight back to university on placement as soon as we get back so wont have time to do any blogs or river notes or anything. If you don't do the river notes soon after they'll never get done!

Re: Equipment List
could be handy if no one has one they want to bring that dell seems pretty cheap, is it a group purchase or would someone want to keep it as a general trip laptop?

Re: Equipment List
think it would be good to buy a cheap small one between us, and if it survives then whoever wants it can buy it after

Re: Equipment List
I'll try and get in touch with Wade to ask him about straps, but if every one can take x1 strap each that would be good too.
